This character is the tritagonist of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Captain Phoebus de Chateaupers (born 1442 in Paris, France) is the tritagonist of Disney's 1996 animated feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He is a gallant French war veteran summoned by Judge Claude Frollo from the war he fought (likely either the War of the Burgundian Succession in eastern France and modern-day Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and western Germany; or the War of the Roses in England, in which France, as well as Scotland fought on the side of the House of Lancaster and the House of Tudor). to assist in Frollo's holocaust on Paris's Romani community. However, Phoebus' righteousness and love for Esmeralda drives him to betray his superior and fight for the liberation of Romani people. He is voiced by Kevin Kline, who also voiced Tulio in DreamWorks's The Road to El Dorado.[1]
