Han Solo (born 32 BBY on Corellia - died 34 ABY on Starkiller Base) is a smuggler hired by Ben Kenobi and Luke Skywalker to transport them to Alderaan, which when they got there, the planet had been destroyed by the Death Star. His best friend and co-pilot is a wookiee named Chewbacca (also known as "Chewie" for short). He joins the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Galactic Empire, falls in love with Leia Organa Solo, and eventually marries her. They have a son, Ben Solo, who falls to the dark side of the Force, becoming known as Kylo Ren, who ends up killing him by stabbing through his heart with his lightsaber.[1]
